Kids and critters at the Evergreen State Fair

"A Black and White A-Fair" is the theme for the 93rd annual Snohomish County Evergreen State Fair in Monroe which opened Aug. 23. The fair runs through Sept. 3. Beyond the carnival rides and entertainment, the fair offers a venue for 4-H club members to show the animals they have been working with for the past year.
