More music and Shakespeare next year

The Duvall Arts Commission extends a great big thank-you to everyone who helped make our first outdoor summer concert series so successful, including King County Arts Commission, the city of Duvall and area businesses.
We also appreciate Lisa Allen, Valley View editor, for printing all our press releases and helping to get out the word about Arts Onstage in the Park. The Valley View is where people in the Duvall-Carnation area look for what's going on around the region.
Thank-you to all the volunteers who gave their time and energy to assure the smooth operation of our productions. From distributing flyers to taking care of the artists' needs to setting up and breaking down equipment, these folks worked tirelessly to do whatever needed to be done. Special thanks to Jan Weekes without whose help these concerts could not have happened. Together we learned to master the mysteries of those so-called "instant" shelters!
Finally, thank you to our wonderful audiences for attending the concerts and for your resoundingly positive response to our project. Events such as these help make us a community, and we look forward to bringing you more music and Shakespeare next year.
