Spider search planned

Join a King County Park System naturalist and spider enthusiast,on an outing to unravel the web of mystery surrounding these amazing arachnids on Wednesday, Sept. 12, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Tolt MacDonald Memorial Park in Carnation. Learn about the adaptations that make spiders so unique and successful, then search for our eight-legged friends in their favorite hiding spots along the trail. The program is appropriate for ages 6 and up. Call (206) 296-4171 to register. Fee is $5 per adult/$3 per child (age 6-12).
   Participants should meet at Suspension Bridge, Tolt Memorial Park, 31020 NE 40th (Carnation).
