Invest in kids . . . become a mentor
Project Smart Turn and the Young Adult Mentor Program are canvassing the Eastside to recruit mature, caring adults to mentor children, teens and young adults impacted by child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, school drop-out, homelessness, substance abuse, teenage pregnancy/parenting, learning disabilities and involvement in the criminal justice system. Meet with a young person once a week, sharing your valuable knowledge of the practical and emotional tools needed to be successful in today's society. Minimum one year requirement.
