10th annual Koi Show

The Washington Koi and Water Garden Society will hold its annual Koi Show Sept. 8 and 9 at Country Village Shopping Center, 23730 Bothell-Everett Highway, Bothell.
   Public viewing is free on Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The international event will feature a rare public viewing of Koi in the U.S., many exceeding 24" in length.
   Koi breeders and dealers from Japan, England and Holland will judge the competition.
   This year's festivities will include the "Water Feature Award," a competition for water gardeners and their creations. There will be an auction, including Koi and water garden items on Sunday. Free information will be available for the beginning Koi hobbyist. There will be a sales table available with items for beginning, intermediate and advanced Koi keepers and water gardeners.
