Duvall father-son duo face bank robbery charges
A 50-year-old man and his 19-year-old son, both from Duvall, pleaded not guilty last week to charges they robbed a Bellevue bank Aug. 18.
Warren M. Richardson and his son Harold were arraigned last week in King County Superior Court on second-degree robbery charges. They are accused of holding up an Eastgate Bank of America branch. Police said they were arrested the day of the robbery after officers trailed them to Capitol Hill, where they had gone looking for drugs.
Both are being held in the King County Jail. Bail was set at $250,000 each. A case-setting hearing is set for Sept. 18.
The Richardsons are also being investigated for other area bank robberies.
