Woodinville blood drive
Large numbers were expected at the regular, quarterly blood drive in Woodinville on Tuesday, Sept. 18, sponsored by The Cottage Lake Cluster of Churches. The need for blood donations will not end, and countless Americans are learning how easy ‹ and gratifying ‹ it is to give blood.
The Puget Sound uses 800 units of blood on a regular day ‹ a day without disasters.
The next blood drive sponsored by these Woodinville churches will be Nov. 22, the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, at the Northshore United Church of Christ. To receive a reminder closer to the date, provide your name and phone to Dewey Millar, (425) 867-1781, or e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Woodinville residents have donated over 2,000 pints of blood in the quarterly drives sponsored by the Bear Creek United Methodist, Wooden Cross Lutheran, Cottage Lake Presbyterian, Woodinville Unitarian Universalist, Northshore United Church of Christ, and Jewish Kol Ami congregations.
