Horse training clinic in Duvall

Steve Rother, professional horse teacher and clinician, will be performing a colt starting and problem horse demonstration on Sept. 21, 7 p.m., at Big Rock Farms near Duvall. Clinics will run the following two days.
   The purpose of this event is to educate people about safe and natural ways to start colts and to deal with problem horses.
   The admission for this 2 1/2 hour demonstration is $15 per person, at the door. For more information, contact Anna Graham at (425) 788-1037, or see Steve's website at
   The clinic runs Saturday, Sept. 22, through Sunday, Sept. 23, with colt starting, foundation and horsemanship classes, three hours each daily. Cost is $80 per class, $140 for two, or $250 for all four classes.
   Big Rock Farms is located at 12950 297th Pl. NE, Duvall. From Duvall, head south on SR-203. At the Safeway just south of town, turn left onto Big Rock Road, follow Big Rock Road to 297th, turn left, follow to the end of the gravel road.
