New Family Center for YMCA

*Woodinville Fire and Life Safety District (WFLSD) is advising that residents in this area have been contacted by telephone and asked for donations to the Woodinville firefighters "in the light of [recent] events."
  

A local connection with New York

*Lt. Kerry Langan and Senior Firefighter Ross VanVactor from Woodinville Fire and Life Safety District are presently in New York working at ground zero, according to Bud Backer, deputy chief. Langan is a team leader on night shift and has been on the bucket brigade.

*Childfind, a free developmental screening for children ages birth to 21 years of age, is provided by Riverview School District on an ongoing basis.
