Sex offender notification

*A meeting will be held Thursday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m. at the Bear Creek Elementary School gym to inform residents of the presence of a registered sex offender in the 20400 block of Northeast Woodinville-Duvall Road.

Fallat to leave Sept. 30

*The Evergreen Healthcare Board of Commissioners and CEO Andrew Fallat, FACHE, have agreed to end Fallat's three-year employment contract effective Sept. 30.

Restoring the Washkuhn Sawmill

*Sinking its large carbide teeth into logs, a monstrous saw roared for years over at the old Washkuhn Sawmill on 176th NE. It cut lumber, baseboards and specialized pieces to order.

Day of Caring held at Children's Country Home

Wastemobile to visit Juanita/Kingsgate

*King County residents can bring their household hazardous wastes to the Wastemobile on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 28-30 and Oct. 5-7, from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
