Pioneers visit Woodin

On Friday, Sept. 28, from noon-3 p.m. there will be a special appearance by some early Woodinville and Bothell pioneers at Woodin Elementary School, located at 12950 NE 195th St. in Bothell.
Participants in grades 3-6 will be meeting at the Woodin Elementary School library at noon to experience some of the exciting activities and stories of the past.
Students will view weaving demonstrations, create tin can punched art, play pioneer kids' games and much more. Participants not from Woodin need to provide their own transportation to and from the school.
Register now at the Woodinville Community Center at 13203 NE 175th Street. Cost is $8 and includes admission to all activities and a snack.
Pioneer Day is sponsored by Woodinville Parks and Recreation, Woodinville Historical Society, Woodinville Senior Programs, and the Northshore School District.
