Carnation Police Levy failing
The $108,000, three-year Carnation Police Levy appeared to be going down to defeat last week, with only 56.2 percent of the voters favoring the measure, which needed 60 percent of "yes" votes to pass.
City Manager Woody Edvalson said the levy will be on the November ballot. "The council has not made a decision yet as to which services may be reduced if the levy fails again."
