'Deathtrap' brings chills and thrills
The SecondStory Repertory, Redmond's professional theatre ensemble, presents the hilarious murder mystery "Deathtrap" by Ira Levin, from Nov. 2-24 at its theatre in Redmond Town Center. Originally a Broadway hit, later a Hollywood film, "Deathtrap" is a twist (or two) on the old "play-within-a-play". A fading mystery writer covets the new manuscript a student has written. Would he be willing to kill for it?
The show opens on Friday, Nov. 2 at 8:15 p.m. The night before is the "Pay What You Can" Thursday preview; otherwise performances are on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:15 p.m., with one Sunday matinee on Nov. 18 at 2:15 p.m. Tickets are $18 general admission, and $14 for students, seniors and educators, all with I.D. Group rates are also available.
To charge tickets, call the box office at (425) 881-6777. For directions and more information, please visit the company's Web site at www.SecondStoryRep.org.
