Woodinville municipal code available on line
In a partnership between the city of Woodinville and the Municipal Research and Services Center (MRSC), Woodinville city ordinances are now available on-line. MRSC, an independent, non-profit organization that provides consultation, research and information services to Washington cities and counties, hosts several jurisdictional codes including the Washington Administrative Code (WAC) and Revised Code of Washington (RCW). Woodinville Municipal Code (WMC) is the official codified version of ordinances adopted by the City Council.
Web browsers can directly access WMC by logging on to http://www.mrsc.org. Then click on "Municipal Codes" (left navigation panel) and scroll to Woodinville Municipal Code.
References and direct links to WMC have been incorporated into the city's official Web site at http://www.ci.woodinville.wa.us. Browsers can search by title, subject or code section.
"We are very happy to offer this service to our citizens and other users of city services," said Mayor Randy Ransom. "The city of Woodinville is committed to improving electronic access to city services."
Ordinances are legislative acts or local laws prescribing permanent rules of conduct for government. They are the most permanent and binding form of council action and may be changed or repealed only by a subsequent ordinance.
Updates to WMC typically occur once a year.
Browsers with a specific need are encouraged to contact Sandra Steffler, city clerk, at (425) 489-2700 or e-mail : firstname.lastname@example.org for the most current versions.
