Guest Editorial: American Legion issues new call to arms for veterans

*Add your voice to the largest veterans' organization in the world, the American Legion. One of the proud slogans of the American Legion is "Still Serving America!" Our country was just forced into the way of the early 1940s when Americans realized we really were at war.

Freedom is not free

*I am writing this letter from an overseas country while serving my country - the United States. My country is also the land that I was born and raised in.

Citizens want to be controlled by adopted laws, not by unauthorized administrative rules

*The Hollywood Hill Association's Oct. 24 meeting included a discussion of the outdoor burning ban on the areas west of Avondale and Paradise Lake roads.

City's volunteers help strengthen our community
