PSE ends conservation plan
State regulators granted Puget Sound Energy (PSE) permission to discontinue its conservation program early. Begun May 1 and slated to end Dec. 31, the program gave customers credit if they cut back power use by more than 10 percent, when compared with how much power they used during the same period a year earlier.
By ending the program seven weeks early, PSE said it would save $11.4 million.
