Clean up time in Bothell
Bothell reminds campaigners and local residents that all political campaign signs must be removed within 10 days after Election Day Tuesday, Nov. 6.
In an effort to encourage its community to clean up, Bothell asks that all political parties and their supporters retrace their steps and eliminate signage and any campaigning materials that were posted during campaigning time.
"The city would like to see its landscape return to where it was before campaigning began," said Code Compliance Officer Amanda Oliveira-Coats. "Signage always poses a code enforcement challenge, but it certainly increases during election years."
Pursuant to Bothell Municipal Code 12.22.098(B)(2), all off-premises campaign signs shall be removed 10 days after the election for which they pertain.
