Woodinville Light Festival

WOODINVILLE - The annual Woodinville Light Festival kicks off Dec. 7. This wonderful family event brings out the holiday spirit in everyone. Children get a chance to ride the lighted Santa Train and the holiday light displays will capture your heart.
    Free rides on the Elf Express (lighted miniature train) are from 6 to 9 p.m. with the Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6:30 p.m., at the east end of City Hall. Other events include:
    € Santa's Arrival at 6:30 p.m.
    € Santa Photos, 7- 9 p.m. at Brittany Park Retirement Community Center  (next to City Hall)
    € Free arts and craft activities at Brittany Park
    € Teen Art Show at City Hall
    € Lots of holiday music and fanfare
   Parking is available at the Woodinville Community Center, city sports fields and back lots of the 175th Street Station Business Park.
   There is disabled parking at City Hall with a disabled parking pass. No parking is available at Brittany Park.
   Additional holiday fun includes:
   € 'Tis the Season to Swing Country Style featuring the Mary Wiles Show willbe held Saturday, Dec. 8, from 7-9:30 p.m. at the Northshore Senior Center, 10201 East Riverside Drive. Ages 12 to adult are invited. Cost is $5.
   € Holiday Kid Zone, Parents Night Out. Children ages five to 11 are welcome Saturday, Dec. 8, from 7-9:30 p.m. at the Northshore Senior Center. Cost is $7 per child.
   € Santa Skate, Dec. 9, from 11:10 a.m. to 1:10 p.m. at Kingsgate Ice Arena, 14326 124th Ave. NE. The event is free with donation of two canned food items per person and benefits Hopelink. Live music by The Islanders.
   € Enjoy the holiday light displays at Wilmot Park every night from 7 to 9 p.m., Dec. 7 to 24.
     The Woodinville Light Festival is presented by theWoodinville Parks and Recreation Department. Sponsors include Brittany Park Retirement Community, Northshore Senior Center, Woodinville Lions Club, The Atrium, Kingsgate Ice Arena, G.C. Construction and LaValle Printing Services.
