McLendon's honored for excellence in the marketplace

McLendon Hardware, Inc. was selected as October's Business of the Month as part of the Better Business Bureau/U.S. Bank Business of the Year Awards program. This program honors outstanding businesses in Western Washington for excellence in customer service, community involvement and innovative business practices.
   McLendon's, a family-owned and operated company, has been serving the Puget Sound region since 1926, offering consumers a wide variety of hardware, gardening, plumbing, electrical, lighting, housewares, automotive, paint, building supplies, lumber and home decorating items.
   Over the past 75 years, the company has grown to six locations and approximately 400 employees, yet still manages to provide "small town service quality."
   McLendon Hardware's mission is to provide legendary customer service. The company's attention to detail and the specific needs of its customers is never overlooked.
