Jordan Carrell earns Eagle Scout rank
Jordan Carrell, a senior at Inglemoor High School, will be presented with Boy Scout's highest rank, Eagle, at a Court of Honor on Dec. 16 at Cottage Lake Presbyterian Church.
Carrell's Eagle project consisted of reroofing that church's picnic shelter and adding a railing, as well as wire cross and beam supports to secure and square up the shelter.
Highlights of Carrell's 11 years of scouting include the 90-mile hike in Philmont, N.M., and a week of sailing at Seabase in the Florida Keys. He maintains a 4.0 grade point average and is an International Baccalaureate Certificate candidate at IHS.
He is the oldest of three sons of Doug and Chris Carrell of Redmond.
