Libraries need Study Zone leaders

Are you a math wizard? Do you love English? Be a Study Zone Leader.
Kids from elementary through high school come to the library after school with homework questions and they need your help. You'll have fun helping them find out who was the 11th president of the United States or where the capital of Brazil is located.
Volunteers are needed Tuesdays and Thursdays after school for a minimum commitment of one 2-hour session per week.
Subjects range from social studies and English to math and science.
Volunteers are trained in procedures, library resources, study skills and methods of working with English as a second language students. Volunteers are needed at Carnation and Kingsgate.
If you are a high school student, professional or retiree and interested in helping others, volunteer. Your time and talents are needed.
