Going Out: Bullrider's Challenge 2002

*The Bullrider's Challenge 2002 will take place on Friday, Jan. 18 and Saturday, Jan. 19 with doors opening at 6 p.m. and show starting at 8 p.m. at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe.

'Art of Iron 2002' opens Jan. 18 at Bothell gallery

*If the word "blacksmith" brings to your mind images of horseshoes, forget it. The works of many Northwest artist/blacksmiths are more likely to be found forming the gateway to Safeco Field, on massive cathedral doors, in formal gardens, or in art galleries and museums.
  
  

Deaf Kids Drama Festival

*The Deaf Youth Drama Program (DYDP) at Seattle Children's Theatre (SCT) will present its Deaf Kids Drama Festival on Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Broadway Performance Hall.
   Performances are 2:30 and 5:30 p.m. and are open to the public.
