Additional events honoring King

King County employees and the public are invited to gather on Thursday, Jan. 17, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Paramount Theater in Seattle to remember King's call to "reach for the mountaintop."    "Montage for Martin," an original oratorio written in honor of King, will premiere in Seattle on Martin Luther King Day at Benaroya Hall. The composer, Dr. Stephen Newby, is a Bothell resident and worship arts pastor of Antioch Bible Church Northshore. The presentation is geared for a diverse audience with two performances at 1 p.m. and 7:30 pm. Tickets are $12. See www.MontageforMartin.com.
