Washwise program to recognize lucky customer

During the month of January, one lucky customer who buys a qualifying water and energy-efficient clothes washer will receive a rebate toward the full purchase price. The special rebate will be given to the 25,000th customer of the WashWise program, sponsored by local utilities.
Through January, customers of sponsoring utilities who buy a qualifying water and energy efficient machine can apply for a $100 rebate using a form obtained at the store. For the 25,000th qualifying WashWise rebate form received, the rebate will cover the entire purchase price of the washing machine, except sales tax. The 25,000th rebate customer will be contacted on Jan. 31. Beginning Feb. 1, the rebate level will change to $75 per machine.
A family that purchases an efficient washer can save up to $100 annually on energy, water and sewer utility bills, collectively.
The Saving Water Partnership includes City of Bothell Department of Public Works, City of Duvall, Lake Forest Park Water District, Northshore Utility District and the Woodinville Water District
