Anyone with ideas about Thrashers Corner Park should call city

On Jan. 8 I attended the first of three meetings in which Bothell invited input for the master plan on Thrashers Corner Regional Park. I thought the public could attend any one of the three for brainstorming and putting out ideas, hopes and dreams for the park.
I found they are progressive meetings. The first was for brainstorming; the second on Jan. 29 will be to look at what is done with these ideas in a rough form of the master plan. The last meeting in February will be a finalization of what will be offered to Bothell City Council in May. I don't know when the cutoff date for ideas is, but at the Jan. 8 meeting, they said ideas could be submitted by e-mail or phone.
So if anyone out there has any ideas for Thrashers Corner Regional Park saving the wetlands, preserving bird habitat, protecting the salmon of North Creek, trails, educational or interpretive center, preserving the integrity of Filbert Creek, whatever please call Pat Parkhurst of Bothell Parks (425) 486-7430 or e-mail her at pat.parkhurst@ci.bothell.wa.us as soon as possible.
