February computer classes at Woodinville Library
Introduction to the World Wide Web
Introduction to the World Wide Web is a hands-on class for people who are beginners on the Web. Learn about a browser, type Web addresses and get Web pages, click links and navigate pages and sites. Classes will be held Thursday, Feb. 7, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Feb.16 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
This lecture and hands-on class starts with an Excel lecture in the meeting room and finishes with hands-on experience using Excel on the library's computers. This is an introduction to Excel and is intended for people with no spreadsheet experience. The class will be held Saturday, Feb. 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Introduction to Microsoft Word is a hands-on class for beginning users of Microsoft Word.
Learn how to create a document, change the look of the text, change the layout of documents, use menus and toolbars, save your document and print.
Classes will be offered Wednesday, Feb. 13, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 19, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
These computer classes are free.
Register in advance by calling the Woodinville Library at (425) 788-0733. Class sizes are very small with waiting lists, so call to cancel a registration if necessary.
