Police Beat

*A manager reported to work in the 18000 block of Garden Way to discover the alarm going off. The police arrived and found the store ransacked. The main door to the office was splintered into pieces.

International Baccalaureate Program Information Night

*Northshore School District's International Baccalaureate Program (IB) will hold an information night for parents and students on Feb. 7 at Inglemoor High School's library at 7 p.m.

*Puget Sound Blood Center will hold a blood drive at Timbercrest Junior High School, 19115 215th Way NE, Woodinville, on Jan. 28 from 1 to 7 p.m. (with a break from 4 to 4:45 p.m.).

George Norton of Woodinville died Jan. 11. He was 68.

*Mr. Norton was born on March 4, 1933, in Salt Lake City, Utah. In his early childhood his family spent several years living in the Philippines where his father managed various mining operations. Returning to Utah in his youth, Mr. Norton attended school in Park City and graduated from East High School and the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
