UBCCC to meet Jan. 29

The January 29th meeting of the Upper Bear Creek Community Council (UBCCC) will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the Sunrise Elementary School library,14075 172nd Ave NE in Redmond.
   The English Hill Homeowners Association will co-host this meeting. Community service awards will be on the agenda, and King County Council Rep. Kathy Lambert will address parks/youth needs issues.
   Aileen McManus and Wei Huang, senior engineers from the King County Roads Division, will give a brief overview for the following projects which are scheduled to begin in the near future:
   124th Street Signal Interconnect located between SR 202 and I-405 (across the Snoqualmie Valley) in partnership with the city of Kirkland and WSDOT.
   NE 124th Street Phase II reconstruction of the intersection of SR 202 and Northeast 124th to provide northbound right turn lane and a five-lane section on Northeast 124th Street.
   All interested persons of the community are welcome to attend.
   The March and April meetings will be held on Monday, March 25 and April 23 at the Woodinville Library.

   The Upper Bear Creek Community Council meets the second and fourth Tuesday of most months. The purpose of the council is to inform, assist and represent our community in dealing with King County government and other entities with respect to issues that affect our community.
