WHS grad earns Eagle rank
Sean Baker, a 2001 graduate of Woodinville High School, has earned his Eagle Scout rank and was formally recognized at a Court of Honor on Feb.1 at Cottage Lake Presbyterian Church.
Baker's Eagle project consisted of reconstructing two bridges and building two benches in Kirkland's Everest Park to make them handicapped and stroller accessible.
During more than 11 years in scouting Baker participated in the Chief Seattle Council's Junior Leader Training Camp and Junior Leader Instructor Camp at Philmont Training Center. He also took part in scuba diving at Florida Sea Base.He worked for one year as an intern with the City of Woodinville in the Public Works Department and was a familiar sight in Woodinville mapping water drains. He is currently a student at Cascadia Community College.
He is the son of Kevin and Jo Lyn Baker of Woodinville.
