*an. 30: A woman shopping in the 13900 block of Northeast 178 set her purse down while trying on some clothes. She walked to a different section of the store for a minute and when she returned her purse was missing. There are no suspects.
  

'Bash' burglar suspected in Jan. 25 holdup

*According to a King County Sheriff's Office report, at 5:36 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25, a white male in his early 30s entered the King County Credit Union, located at 17601 140th Ave. NE, Woodinville.
  

'Springtime gorgeous' in February

*For many, the winter doldrums could be setting in about now if it weren't for the 2002 Northwest Flower and Garden Show opening in Seattle Feb. 6-10. For five days, winter drops dead as spring bursts on the scene inside the Washington State Convention Center.

WHS grad earns Eagle rank

*Sean Baker, a 2001 graduate of Woodinville High School, has earned his Eagle Scout rank and was formally recognized at a Court of Honor on Feb.1 at Cottage Lake Presbyterian Church.
