Nowosad named Chamber chair

The Woodinville Chamber of Commerce has announced that Ron Nowosad will be the 2002 Chair of the Chamber Board of Directors. He has served on the Chamber Board of Directors the past two years and last year was the vice chair. He has been vice president of community relations and marketing at Evergreen Healthcare for the past three years. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a bachelors degree in business administration and from George Washington University with a masters of arts in health service administration.
   Other executive board members include: Vice Chair James Simkins with Willows Lodge; Past Chair Dennis Smith with Verizon Communications; Secretary Darcy Barham with Madison House; and Treasurer Jody Norton with Banner Bank. The remainder of the board includes: Jim Davis with Sundance Energy; Darylene Dennon with Solid Energy; Karen Forys with Northshore School District; Kern Gillette with Molbak's; Barbara Grube with Woodinville Weekly; Gwenn Maxfield with Woodinville Water District; and Marie Stake with the City of Woodinville.
   The Woodinville Chamber Board of Directors leads the organization in their mission "to promote, strengthen, and represent a successful business community." In doing so the chamber remains an active advocate on behalf of our member businesses in legislative issues, working with government officials to solve issues of common interest, working for business development and community involvement.
