Horses for Clean Water holds workshop
Horses for Clean Water (HCW) presents a one-day workshop on mud and manure management options for commercial horse businesses on Wednesday, Feb. 27, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at Kelsey Creek Farm in Bellevue.
The workshop will focus on ways to improve business, make your place healthier for clients' horses, provide a pleasing view for the neighborhood, make your farm healthy for the environment, and how to save money doing so.
Methods for managing mud and manure will be covered in professional slide show presentations and educational materials.
Resource speakers will be available to answer questions. All participants receive a newly produced HCW manual for commercial farm owners with sections on mud, manure, and pasture management, resource lists, and more.
The cost is $10/person or $25/farm and includes lunch. Pre-registration is required and is limited to 20 participants.
