Bothell needs citizen input on Comprehensive Plan update

The City of Bothell invites citizens to attend community Open House meetings to provide input on its Major Comprehensive Plan Update from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 20, and Wednesday, Feb. 27, at the Bothell Police Department community room, 18410 101st Ave. NE.
" ... We need the input to help us move forward and make decisions that will impact the future of our community," said Community Planning Manager Gary Hasseler.
The city wants your input regarding important issues in the areas of: land use, transportation, economic development, urban design, housing and capital facilities.
Each open house will include displays, maps and aerial photos. Bothell's Planning Commission and Community Planning staff will be onsite to gather comments and answer questions about the Comprehensive Plan Update process.
The Comprehensive Plan provides direction for a wide variety of city decisions affecting the form and function of the community over the next 20 years. It is a policy document, implemented through city codes, regulations and zoning ordinances.
To receive monthly updates about the Comprehensive Plan, log on to the Web site at www.ci.bothell.wa.us/about/imagine.html, or e-mail information to julie.aaby@ci.bothell.wa.us or call (425) 486-8152.
