Meeting to discuss Hwy 203 roundabout

The regular monthly meeting of the Duvall Chamber of Commerce will be held at noon Tuesday, March 5, at the Duvall Fire Hall. Dave Edwards, Washington State Department of Transporation project manager will present plans for the construction of a roundabout on Highway 203 at the 124th St. intersection at Novelty Hill Road. Members from the King County Road Department will also be present.
   This meeting is open to the public and the community is welcomed.
   There will be time for questions and comments following the presentation.
   The success or challenges of traffic roundabouts and their long usage in other areas and countries will be addressed, and the protocol for using roundabouts will be explained. The size and type circle needed to accommodate truck traffic using Highway 203 will be discussed.
   Mitigation of peak hour commuter traffic on Novelty Hill Road is a concern. If you have comments or questions about roundabouts, attend this meeting.
