Two high school businessmen balance homework and clients

*While stationed at their desks, two students smile and motion to the news reporter who has just arrived. It's after lunch and the rest of the students in Mr. Ley's class study individual projects at their computers.

Woodinville Parks and Rec to host junior high school dance

*Students in grades 7-9 are invited to a junior high school dance to be held from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, March 1, at the Sorenson gym. Cost is $5 per person.

Jewish Religious School registration

*Congregation Kol Ami is holding pre-registration for religious school for children in preschool through 8th grade. School meets Sunday evenings at the facility shared with Bear Creek United Methodist Church

Children's essays honor fathers

*"My dad is the best ever. I would kiss a pig for him." While kissing a pig may not be the most common way of showing devotion to your dad, it's just one example of how Seattle-area kids will be describing what their father means to them in the 2002 Seattle Mariners Father of the Year Essay Contest.
