*Wondering what there is for kids to do during spring break? YMCA day camp/enrichment programs offer safe, fun and educational activities for children K-6th grade, at Bear Creek, Maywood, Kenmore, Kokanee, Woodin, and Woodmoor schools.

* There's an easy way for high school students to learn about democracy: go to the state Legislature in Olympia and see it first-hand.

Northshore Junior High holds Career Day

*Northshore Junior High will be holding a Career Day for its 920 students on March 15 from 8-11 a.m. It is important for junior high students to start thinking about career paths because by 9th grade they need to begin to tailor their classes to those required for certain careers.

Families needed for students from former Soviet Union

*Four Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) scholarship students will be coming to the Greater Seattle/Eastside area for the 2002/2003 school year to learn about American democracy and education, volunteerism and free enterprise.
