Red Cross offers free workplace preparedness training and family disaster preparedness calendar

The American Red Cross of Seattle-King County has developed a Workplace Preparedness Training Program, which is offered free of charge to King County businesses now through June 30. This one-hour program is designed to help businesses prepare emergency plans for crisis situations, from earthquakes to terrorism.
   In cooperation with the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA), the Red Cross has also developed a free companion manual, The Emergency Management Guide for Business and Industry. Learn how to protect your employees and your business before, during, and after a disaster.

   The Red Cross also offers a free "Family Disaster Prepardeness Calendar," a step-by-step guide to disaster planning, with easy-to-complete weekly steps to making families safer and better prepared.
