UW seeking volunteers with MS with depression
University of Washington researchers are looking for volunteers who have a confirmed diagnosis of multiple sclerosis and who have felt depressed in the past month. Research subjects must be at least 18 years old and be willing to take daily medication for three months. Participants will receive either an antidepressant medication or a placebo - a pill that contains no active ingredient. The placebo group will be used for comparison with the results shown by those taking the medication. For more information, call the UW MS Rehabilitation Research and Training Center at (206) 221-5358 or (206) 221-5688.
