Leota Junior High studentheaded for Junior Olympics

*Jadriene Peterson, a 15-year-old honors student at Leota Junior High School and a member of Stevens Pass Alpine Club ski race team has qualified for a spot on the Pacific NW Ski Association's J3 Junior Olympic Team.
  

Mercury Select soccer tryouts: March 23-24

*Seattle Sounders striker Kyle Smith has been named the new coach of Mercury Soccer, a U-16 girls classic (P-3) select soccer team affiliated with Capitol Hill Soccer Club.
  

WHS cheerleaders headed for competition

*On March 22-24, the WHS varsity cheerleaders will participate in the Northwest Cheerleading Championships at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma.
  

Lady Lions are first on the field and in the classroom

*The Leota Lions Varsity softball team went undefeated through their 10-game season outsdcoring their opponents 123 runs to 20.
  

Woodinville girls enjoy successful soccer season

*Five Woodinville girls were part of FC Alliance Phoenix, which finished their season with a 10-2-2 record and a 2nd place finish in the Classic division. Phoenix is a GU17 select soccer team representing the Northshore Youth Soccer Association.
