There's a new act in town. The founders of the newly-forme Cascade Performing Arts Council (CPAC) believe that the performing arts are an essential element in building community and quality of life for residents of the Snoqualmie Valley.
  

Silver now, going for gold

Several local Senior Girl Scouts recently earned their Silver Awards. Stephanie Boyd of Troop 1906, along with Troop 153 members Kora Jensen, Ailea Scarth and Meredith Russell, attended an award ceremony sponsored by Totem Council, and held at Seattle Center.
