*The Upper Bear Creek Community Council will hold its next meeting at 7:30 p.m. March 25 at the Woodinville Library, 17105 Avondale Road.
  

Club plants rose for International Women's Day

*Friday, March 8, was International Women's Day. The Zonta Club of Everett commemorated the day by planting a yellow rose bush in the arboretum at Legion Memorial Park.
  

Summer program at Kidstager

*Village Theatre's Kidstage Theatre Arts Education Program has announced their spring lineup of classes for area youth.

World of Bats

*King County Parks and Recreation will present "The Secret World of Bats" from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at the Kingsgate Library, 12315 NE 143rd in Kirkland.

Stroke screening to be held March 23

*Costco Pharmacies, in conjunction with the American Stroke Association - a Division of the American Heart Association, will be providing stroke screening which involves risk factor assessment, finger-stick blood test
  

Literacy Book Sale

*Hopelink will present their annual Eastside Literacy Book Sale Saturday, March 23, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 24, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1805 136th Place NE in Bellevue.

*A community blood drive will be held, Tuesday, March 26, at the Bear Creek United Methodist Church, 16530 Avondale Road, Woodinville.

Public meeting on County Crisis System scheduled for March 21

*Community members are invited to a public forum on Snohomish County's integrated crisis response system on Thursday, March 21, from 1-3:30 p.m. at Compass Health, 4526 Federal Avenue Campus, Building 2, in Everett.
