SEPAC meeting to discuss 'Sensory Integration' March 27

Northshore School District's Special Education Parent's Advisory Council (SEPAC) will present "Sensory Integration : understanding and helping children who have differences in sensory processing and perception" by Rosemary White, OTR.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 27 from 7-9 p.m. in Ricketts Auditorium, 18315 Bothell Way NE, Bothell.
A child's response to touch, movement, visual, and auditory stimuli as well as taste and smell can impact them in many ways. How do difficulties in a child's sensory processing and perception affect learning behavior? How do they influence attention, impulse control, motor control, and other functional skills? What can you as a parent or teacher do to make life easier for your child and you?
In an effort to support the community, SEPAC will gladly accept canned foods and deliver them to Hope Link.
To reserve free childcare, call (425) 489-6311 by noon Monday, March 25. Childcare will be in Ricketts, Room 23.
