Easter egg hunts, bunnies, bonnets, brunch, parades

The Hollywood Hill Saddle Club will hold its annual community Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at the club's arena, 15205 NE 172nd, just above Hollywood Hill Elementary School. The hunt site will be divided into age-appropriate areas. Special golden eggs with surprises inside will be hidden . Bring baskets or bags for the eggs. All ages are invited.
   Hopkins Nursery, 15028 100th Ave. NE, Bothell, invites children, ages 2-10, to an Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 31. Mr. and Mrs. Bunny and live bunnies will be there. Cost is $1 per child. (425) 488-1179.
   The annual Woodinville Lions Club Easter egg hunt will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at their hall, 19008 168th Ave. NE. The Easter bunny will be there to visit and make sure every child gets an Easter egg. There will be special prizes and age-specific areas. (425) 483-2693.
   Olympic Ballet Theatre will present its annual Easter Bunny Brunch at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at Embassy Suites, 20610 44th Ave. West, Lynnwood. Tickets are $15 for children 10 and under and $20 for adults. The Easter bunny will meet with the audience and invite his animal friends to perform.    Children (through the 4th grade) are invited to Bear Creek Community Church's Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 30. The church is located at 18931 NE 143 St. in Woodinville. (425) 861-7444.
   The Northshore YMCA and the City of Bothell Parks and Recreation are sponsoring a free Easter egg hunt at Westhill Elementary at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 30. Children will meet the Easter bunny, get their faces painted and search for chocolate eggs at the age-divided hunt. Parents are asked to provide baskets for their children. (425) 485-9797.
   The American Legion Easter Egg Hunt is set for 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at Carnation's Memorial Park. The event is for children, ages nine and under. Parking is at the Catholic Church and participants are encouraged to be there by 9:20. Call (425) 788-1992 for details.
   A surprise visit by the Easter bunny is planned for Easter breakfast at the Woodland Park Zoo from 9:30-11 a.m. Sunday, March 31 in the Rain Forest Food Pavilion. Cost is $19.95 per adult and $10.95 per child, ages 3-10. For reservations and information, call (206) 684-4825.
   The Snohomish Chamber of Commerce will hold its 22nd annual Easter Parade Saturday, March 30. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. on First Street between Union Avenue and Avenue D. Sign ups for the Easter Bonnet Contest begins at 9:30 a.m. for infants through adults (small pets are welcome) to be held at First Street and Avenue B. Judging will take place immediately following the parade. The Easter egg hunt for children under 8 years old will begin at 9 a.m. at Pilchuck Park, 169 Cypress Ave. Children will be divided into age groups. (360) 568-2526.
