SR202/NE 177th Place intersection improvements

WOODINVILLE- Beginning Sunday, April 7, Northeast 177th Place (Little Bear Creek Parkway) from the eastern edge of State Route 202 (131st Ave Northeast) to 132nd Avenue Northeast will be closed for 14 calendar days.
The 24-hour-per-day closure is necessary to accelerate road construction along this section of Northeast 177th Place in a safe manner to the adjacent business owners and the traveling public.
At the end of that period, immediate improvements will be available on this two-lane road.
A new surface of asphalt will be applied providing four lanes along Northeast 177th Place east of 131st Avenue Northeast and two in the eastbound direction and two in the westbound direction.
Woodcreek Center businesses and customers may use the temporary driveway access on SR202. Businesses on either side of 132nd Ave Northeast/Northeast 177th Place will have access via 132nd Northeast.
Detour plans encourage travelers to use the Northeast 195th Street exit from SR522 or 171st Street (South Bypass)/140th Avenue Northeast/178th Place (Mill Place) to access Little Bear Creek Parkway. Detour signs will be posted.
This project is funded by a utility tax approved by the City Council in 1998.
The purpose of the utility tax is to fund improvements along Northeast 177th Place (Little Bear Creek Parkway).
This intersection improvement is the first of three projects to improve traffic circulation in this corridor and in Woodinville's downtown.
