Multi-family garage sale
   Carnation Co-operative Preschool is having a 24-family garage sale Saturday, April 6, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. rain or shine, at the Tolt Congregational Church (the stone church in downtown Carnation). This sale will raise money for the preschool and will include toys, clothes, tools, furniture, potted plants, etc., and a bake sale. Reasonable prices. Outdoors only. Cash donations are also welcome.
   Free workout with dance team
   A free workout clinic will be held at Tolt Middle School on Wednesday, April 3, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. and at Cedarcrest High School on Thursday, April 4, from 2:30-3:30 p.m., with the Cedarcrest High School Dance Team.    Pumps & Grinds After Hours
   Saturday, April 6, is the monthly blues jam hosted by Charles Eliot. Paula will bake fabulous cookies and phenominal quiche. P & G is very excited to have Irish shamanic healer March Rogers available every Saturday from 2-6 p.m. for tarot readings and a variety of energy and psychic consultations.    Children's Services classes
   Infant massage: A five-week infant massage class for parents with children ages 0-8 months, on Wednesdays from 9:30-11 a.m., April 10-May 15 at Holy Innocents fellowship hall in Duvall. Cost is $75 and pre-registration is required. Call (425) 788-7924.
   Relative caregiver training: A workshop for CSSV's grandparents support group, on Wednesday, April 3, from 6:30-8 p.m. at the CSSV office (15904 Main St.) All relative caregivers are welcome. Call (425) 788-7924 to register for free childcare. The grandparents support group meets from 6:30-8 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month.
   Spring parenting class: CSSV's 9-week parenting class for parents of children aged 2-12 will begin Thursday, April 11, at Cherry Valley Elementary. The class meets Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. through June 13. Although the class costs $20 per person, scholarships are available. Call (425) 788-7924. Free childcare.
   Be a mentor
   The Snoqualmie Valley Mentoring Program/Friends of Youth seeks caring, positive, fun-loving, responsible adult volunteers to mentor local elementary and middle school youth for eight hours each month.    Raise the Roof, Catch the Vision
   Donations of items or monies are currently being sought for the first annual auction of the Duvall Church and Christian School. Donations must be made by April 30. The dinner auction will be held June 8. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the church and school building fund.    Braithburn Academy begins fall preschool enrollment
   Braithburn Academy in Duvall begins fall preschool enrollment Feb. 1. Braithburn offers developmentally appropriate lesson plans, hands-on learning, a lead teacher with 11 years experience, use of positive guidance, teaching of self-help and social skills, parent teacher conferences and unlimited opportunities for discovery and fun. Enrollment is open to children who are 2 1/2 to 4 years old by Sept. 1. Optional childcare is offered before or after preschool. Space is limited.    Monthly meditations at Two Rivers Yoga

   Primalux Yoga has opened a new studio on Duvall in the Duvall Plaza Building at 15705 Main St. Instructors Cathy and Christopher Iacobazzi have over 30 years experience combined in this ancient art and science.    A special time together
   Children's Services of Sno-Valley's Evening Toddler Playgroup provides working parents a great opportunity for quality time with their toddler.    Meals on Wheels-food for homebound seniors
   Winter weather brings chilling and slick weather conditions, making it difficult for some seniors to leave their home to shop for groceries. Meals on Wheels offers a selection of 35 complete breakfast, lunch and dinner entrees to "Homebound seniors age 60 and over." The cost of each meal is a suggested donation of $3. Participants decide for themselves what, if anything, they wish to contribute.    Children's indoor playground
   Tired of being stuck inside? Bring your 0 to 5-year-old to Children's Services of Sno-Valley's indoor playground, open Wednesdays through Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The playground provides a convenient drop-in activity for families of young children. A $1 donation is asked and parents are required to supervise their children. Call (425) 788-7924 for information.

   Senior center has event hall
   The Sno-Valley Senior Center's main hall is available for parties or other holiday
   events. The main hall has a capacity of up to 260 and there are two additional rooms that can be rented. The facility boasts a fully equipped commercial kitchen. Rental fees are reasonable and all fees go to benefit the programs and services offered by the center to local seniors. Call Kate at (425) 333-4152.
   Knitter's Guild in Carnation
   Are you a knitter and would like to join others who share a love of the craft? Or, have you always wanted to learn to knit, but didn't know who to contact? A group of knitters from the Snoqualmie Valley meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 31911 E.    Classes and support groups
   Children's Services of Sno-Valley, Duvall, is offering the following classes and support groups:
   Parents support group: An opportunity to share information, support and personal experiences, as well as learn about services available to your family. Single parents are encouraged to attend. Free ongoing sessions are scheduled for the first and third Wednesday of each month from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
   Grandparents support group: Informal support group for grandparents raising grandchildren. Free ongoing sessions are scheduled for the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

   Volunteers needed for Meals on Wheels
   Meals on Wheels delivery volunteers are a life link to the outside world for the recipients who frequently are unable to leave their homes. Volunteers deliver frozen pre-packed meals, bright smiles and friendly greetings. Volunteers are needed at the Sno-Valley Senior Center in Carnation to sort and deliver orders on Thursday afternoons for one to two hours. A car, valid driver's license and auto insurance are mandatory. Training and assistance are provided. Call Kate Miller at (425) 333-4152.
   Cherry Valley Riders meets monthly
   Cherry Valley Riders, a family-oriented horseback riding club, meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. in the upstairs meeting room of the Duvall Fire Station. Call (425) 788-9246.
