Helping local watersheds

King County has launched an on-line networking tool that connects people offering stewardship opportunities and related resources throughout the county. The new Watershed Stewardship Directory is located at The directory was created to help residents find volunteer opportunities, create partnerships, find grant funding and much more. The free directory includes hundreds of government agencies, businesses, schools, community groups and funding sources.
   King County will continually update the listings. Organizations wishing to be included on the directory should visit the Web site (listed above) to submit their information. (206) 296-8024.
