Water reuse open house
The public is invited to a community open house on Thursday, April 25, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Gold Creek Lodge, 16020 148th Ave. NE in Woodinville to learn about King County's plans to site and design a reclaimed water facility in the Sammamish Valley.
Reclaimed water is highly treated wastewater that is safe for irrigation and industrial uses.
Once reclaimed water is available along the Sammamish River, several major water users could switch to reclaimed water for irrigation and stop drawing water from the river or groundwater.
For more information on the open house, contact Jo Sullivan at (206) 296-8361 or firstname.lastname@example.org. More information and directions can be found on the Web at http://dnr.metrokc.gov/WTD/reuse/.
