TJH Builders Club installed

The Builders Club of Timbercrest Junior High (TJH) will be installed as an official chapter by Woodinville Kiwanis on Thursday, April 11, 2002, at Northshore United Church of Christ, at 7 p.m.
Twenty three charter members will be installed, including officers: President, Jessica Hart, Vice President, Rachel Hatlen, Secretary, Tara McLauchlan, and co-treasurers Erin Shannon and Arielle Watts. Installing chapter will be the Woodinville High School Key Club. Mrs. Ann Parrish, advisor to the TJH Builders, will become an honorary member of Kiwanis. Parents and family are invited, and dessert will be served.
Builders Club has been active since 1998, serving the TJH community by participating in service projects such as: almost one hundred Christmas Stockings, handmade and filled by students, given to Eastside Friends of Youth; a coat and blanket collection each fall for Seattle Childrens Home Street Van project; a disposable diaper collection for the Skagit Valley Migrant Project Child Care Program; the Canned Food Drive for Hopelink; providing "wolf prints" for the corridors at school; and organizing collections for emergency relief. All students at Timbercrest "belong" to Builders Club with their participation in these projects.
