A special performance of 'Black to my Roots'
The University of Washington, Bothell will host a special theater performance of "Black to my Roots" on May 8 at 7:30 p.m. in UW2 003-005. The performance is free and open to the public.
"Black to my Roots" is an intelligent, funny and original evening of theater. The play, made up of 13 monologues and ensemble pieces, deals with the collective experience of African American women and the unique relationship they have with their tresses.
The theater performance is free and open to the public. Space is limited.
