Jamba Juice, American Cancer Society team up

WOODINVILLE - The second annual Jamba Juice Free Smoothie Celebration was held at the Woodinville store last Friday, April 19. The event raised nearly $500 for the American Cancer Society ACS).
ACS representatives were on hand to answer questions about cancer prevention and distribute information about the latest health and nutritional recommendations.
The Woodinville celebration was part of a larger weeklong event that took place at Jamba's five Seattle stores and at 270 Jamba Juices across the nation. For more information on how you can help the ACS, call 1-800-ACS-2345 or visit their website www.cancer.org.
"Good nutrition is a key element towards cancer prevention and we value partnering with companies like Jamba Juice to promote healthy living, a balanced diet and our ACS nutritional guidelines," said Catherine Filippini, Media Relations & Marketing Manager for the Society. "Not only did the event provide patrons with a nutritious drink, but it helped to increase awareness and gain further support of the American Cancer Society programs, services and healthy living guidelines."
